8th June, 2026: Dr. R.K. Tyagi, Director General, Power Foundation of India, called on Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairman, Central Electricity Authority, to exchange views on emerging priorities and key developments in the power sector.

4th June, 2026: Dr. R.K. Tyagi, Director General, Power Foundation of India (PFI), met Dr. Neeraj Mittal, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, following his assumption of charge as Director General. Dr. Tyagi took the opportunity to present PFl's recent initiatives and ongoing activities, reinforcing the organisation's close alignment with national energy priorities.

2nd June, 2026: Dr. R.K. Tyagi, Director General, Power Foundation of India, met Shri Jishnu Barua, Chairperson, Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC). The meeting focused on deliberations around key regulatory developments, sectoral priorities, and opportunities to enhance the resilience and growth of India's power sector.

1st June, 2026: Shri Lakpat Rai Goyal demitted office as Chief Financial Officer, on June 1, 2026. He was accorded a warm farewell by colleagues and associates, who expressed their appreciation for his contributions and extended their best wishes to him.

29th May, 2026: Shri Ratan Shome, Principal – Data Analytics, was accorded a warm farewell on the occasion of his superannuation from Power Foundation of India. Colleagues expressed their appreciation for his dedicated service and valuable contributions, and extended their heartfelt best wishes for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling future.

27th May, 2026: Dr. R K Tyagi has assumed charge as Director General of power Foundation of India, an autonomous Society under the aegis of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. Prior to this role, he superannuated as Chairman & Managing Director of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and also served as Director (Operations) and Executive Director (North-Eastern Region).
